Long time musical partner of PsyBooty A&R head / Label Manager, David Justin, Dean Manning is the co-founder of Changmian Productions, a member of the Sonic Beating DJ Collective, and Promotion/Distribution Rep for PsyBooty Records.

Dean has been DJing up & down the east coast and beyond since 1996. In this time he has held five residencies in the Boston metropolitan area, the best of which, "Anitya," an event dedicated to to the psy-trance sound, lasted a whopping 100 events before moving onward in December 2003.

Since then, Dean & the Changmian / Sonic Beating crew have been hosting one of Boston's hottest underground monthly events, "Psyforia."

In addition to his psy-trance and down tempo DJ sets, Dean is currently working on producing his own music, which sounds like a mix between DJ Shadow and Shpongle. He recently relocated to San Francisco, CA to take a bigger role in the operaton of PsyBooty Records, and is a resident at the new PsyBooty monthly club night.
