The story of Iboga Records began in the middle of the nineties when an organisation called rotundum arranged several events in the period 94-97. Dj Amon, Dj Banel and Dj Emok were part of the 25 people rotundum group, including the Photon light guys, Dj Jean Borelli, and the guys Martin and Rene who later formed Beat Bizarre . After some years of event organising & dj´ing, the idea of a Copenhagen record label for the new Scandinavian progressive trance sounds was taking shape. In 1998 Iboga compiled the first cd (Tabernanthe) and Iboga Records was officially born. It was in these days that artists like Beat Bizarre, Phony Orphants, Oryx , Reefer Decree and Lurifax, made their first groundbreaking releases. http://www.iboga.dk
